Piano Concert with Roberto Plano
Of Roberto Plano New York Times music critic Anthony Tommasini has written: “This Italian pianist showed artistic maturity beyond his years… there was a wonderful clarity and control of inner voices in his performances…” He had already made a name for himself in Italy when he received first prize in the 2001 Cleveland International Piano Competition, and later, as laureate of the 2003 Honens International Piano Competition, Calgary, and finalist at the 12th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2005. A member of the piano faculty at Boston University’s College of Fine Arts since late 2016, he continues his schedule of solo and collaborative performances and master classes across the globe.
